How to be happy!

Happiness is an elusive emotion. All individuals strive for it, yet few are able to stay content for long periods of time. Although no one can promise an individual permanent bliss, there are steps one can take to ensure a greater sense of satisfaction with life.

The first step to leading a happier life is to focus on improving your physical health. Through a combination of healthy eating, exercise and proper sleep, an individual can drastically improve both their mental and physical wellbeing. Eating meals filled with fruits, vegetables and other nutrient-dense foods is helpful in maintaining a balanced diet. Incorporating both aerobic and muscle-strengthening exercises into a regular routine helps to reduce stress and regulate mood. Achieving at least seven to eight hours of sleep per night also helps to enhance overall health and quality of life.

In addition to improving physical health, it is important to prioritize activities sources of joy.
