Prompt suggestions

If you send a prompt suggestion, we store the name, email address, prompt title and text, optional notes and a one-way hash of your connection address for rate limiting. The submission is held in a private review queue and emailed to our editor. Your email is for follow-up and is not displayed on the public page. Suggestions are not automatically published.

Editor, remix and sessions

The editor and remix lab run in your browser, without a paid AI call from our server. Their optional Save buttons store a draft in your browser's local storage; you can remove it using your browser's site-data controls. A session cookie supports form security and administrator login. Choosing “Send to ChatGPT” opens a prefilled draft on ChatGPT; review its text before sending it there.

Google advertising

Some desktop prompt articles contain one clearly labelled Google AdSense placement after the article. The editor, remix lab and submission form have no manually placed ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve personalised ads. Other third-party advertising vendors or networks may also use cookies if eligible to serve ads. You can manage or opt out of personalised Google ads and review other participating vendors' opt-out choices. Your browser also offers cookie controls.
