Prompt

Create a playable branching story about [ORDINARY PROBLEM] in [SETTING]. The reader plays [ROLE]. There are four doors, each revealing a different explanation of the same event: practical, emotional, historical and surprising-but-plausible.

Start with a vivid 120-word scene and offer exactly two choices. After each choice, present one short scene and two further choices. Design a compact state map first so every path is coherent and no choice leads to a dead end. Each ending should reinterpret an earlier detail without declaring all other paths false. Keep the whole play-through under five minutes.

Return (1) the state map, (2) the opening scene and first two choices, and (3) instructions to continue one choice at a time without spoiling unreached branches. Do not force a happy ending. Keep characters consistent and avoid random twists that were never foreshadowed.
