Prompt

Using [VERIFIED EVENT] and two invented viewpoint roles [ROLE A] and [ROLE B], write two 250-word accounts of the same harmless event. Keep shared facts identical; let attention, vocabulary and emotional interpretation differ. After the stories, provide a table separating observed facts, plausible interpretation and invented interior thought. Both narrators must have an understandable reason for their reading; neither is a caricature. Do not assign secret motives to real people or change the chronology to force a twist. Finish with one paragraph showing how a reader could investigate the disagreement fairly.
