Audit a dataset for mixed units before analysis

Given [DATA DICTIONARY] and a sample of [ROWS], inventory every measured field, its stated unit, observed range and possible alternative unit. Flag suspicious records without silently converting them. Propose a transformation table with source unit, target unit, formula and confirmation needed from the data owner. Include three fictional edge cases and a before-after validation plan. Do not infer units solely from a plausible range. Check that totals and derived columns are recomputed consistently and that the original raw values remain available for audit.
